bore crankstroke and pin size are the main factors in working out cc size for these lil engines a slight pin change 10mm pin or 12 mm pin cranks changes the stroke by enough to take a 49cc to a 50.177

thats why they have 40-43 ccs in the 40 mm cylinders and 47-50.177 cc in a 44mm cylinder confused yet ??
so thats why some bikes rev that bit more than others & some seem to just go harder than a bike from the same shipment or dealer & some respond to mods better than others
pin size can make a difference in the window port u can put in a piston lots a lil things to make a good hard revving engine with a bit of go all round

How does the piston pin have anything to do with it. You people spin me out with your fantacies. the center of the pin is the samme point if its 100mm or 1 mm so the stroke is the same. So get it right or tell me to fark off

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
very true Kooky but if you can understand the difference between the 10mm and 12mm size crank / rods , you will understand what is being mentioned. example is the 10mm size crank / rod has a normal stroke of 32mm, the 12mm size has a stroke of 33mm.

get a 10 mm crank & piston and get a 12 mm pin crank with piston installed in a bottem end and measure the difference yourself easy as that
then use the bore X stroke method and a engine calculator that 1 mm changes things
thats why some call the 12 mm pin crank a stroker crank can argue this one forever
easy way to say it is some cranks have a 32 mm stroke some have a 33 mm stroke

Too much wine last night. Sorry boys
I have engines with 33 x 10 and 33 x 12 with 44mm bores. they are both 50+ cc and excatly the same capacity as each other. you are right about the different stroke cranks. wich was my original point. Bore x strke gives its capacity. Not the cylinder alone. As I know you will agree Mac
