about fuel tank

i need to know if you can have the fuel tank level with the engine not above it as i have a r1 rep and i moded the header pipe to fit but know i have no room for the tank but there is room below the exhaust any info would be good

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
NO you can,t have your fuel tank at engine level with the use of the bowl type carby [ stock or dellorto ] gravity feed, if you have a walbro carby you can as this type of carby has its own pumping device which does allow all positions, even upside down running of the engine. if you must re-position your tank you can make up a smaller type from a fuel compatable plastic bottle with fittings, breather.

looks like i am in luck as i am going to run it with a walbro 603 butterfly carb

now you can run 2 x small dual tanks.
