vee rubber tire pressure

Question to any vee rubber users -

i was running mine at 18psi on a very hot day and the traction was not so great (soft on the front and medium compound on the rear BTW). you could feel it slide out then bite again and keep doing it through the turn.

it felt like you where running a PMT at way too low a pressure. had a quick run at the carpark (couldnt go too fast there..) at a much higher pressure - about 24psi and it seemed heaps heaps better.

do veerubber need to run at a much higher pressure then the pmts or something? or do they just suck either way ill be using this set till they wear out so getting the best out of em would be cool
