I hope RD wasnt serious when he said "for a couple of dollars a can". I just paid 14 quid for 2 cans! THATS 35AUD! Where is this supercheap place?

hey i just finished painting my half fairing and i used a oil and petrol resistant car spray touch up paint and it looks awsome(dark red and green)they sell them at supercheap for $10 but there only small cans half the size of a normal can but they work great

sn5013 thats the stuf to use. called car touch up paint. 2 sizes like 225ml for $10 or 550ml for $16. post some pics would love to see

You can get spray paint from bunnings for $3 a can.

rd is spot-on. the prep work is the most important thing. the spray job doesn't really matter. when i was at tafe all the guys that were crap at sparying just loaded the paint on then sanded the paint flat slowly going through the paper grades then buffed the item nice and shiny.

the spray job does really matter. when using pressure pack cans you must apply this paint at the specified distance for starters and only put on the required amount of paint then leave for one day and lightly sand back with the fine paper, repeat these coats as many times as needed with a sanding between.
