How To Paint Fairings!!

Hey phykotic did you use epoxy enemal paint? Where'd you get it and what brand?

I bought the paint at Home Depot...the "All Uses" stuff. I used a gloss for the finish.

Thanks. I might try somethin on the old air cooled if I ever have the time. I have some plastic primer so i just need the paint.

i pulled all my stickers off then sanded it down then i took some steal wool to make it even smoother then cleaned it and then sprayed high gloss black on it. i kept coading it till one full can was empty so i dont have to wory aboout it scratching off or rubbing off easy. i polished my frame too. shinny 8)

o and a nuther cool thing you can do is well like my pocket bike before was yellow. i kept some stickers on it and painted over them. then after i had my thing painted all black i pulled the stickers off and then it had yellow #44 on the sides and front and then at the lower left and right side it had the name of the bike. you can leave the stickers on and paint over them if you want it to look like be for only different colar combinations.

just in the procces of spraying my bike black Iam using some hammerite stuff. Seems to be goign well and I should have the bike back together tommorow and will post pics Its looking very good so far

Here are some pics so far. (Oh yeh the fairings are new ones used from my bargain bike I got a while ago of ebay, for $140 aud posted, if anyone remembers). Also Iam very sorry for triple posting but you cant post more than four pictures at once. Oh well





And here are the paints iam using. Havnt used the blue stuff yet but will use it tommorow on the side panel things. Theres one in the picture infront of the paints.

awwww crap i got two cans of the paint he just said oil rubs off :P ahh well spose i can spray my pushbike instead.
