this is the ways to make a pocket bike faster for basicaly free.

-if it has a starter remove it.
-use k&n filter oil on filter instead of the thick motor oil.
-lighten the fly wheel.
-port the head.
-your rear break will always have drag and drag slows you down. if you break dosent have drag then it will work like crap. so what i did was remove the rear break so it can go faster. then you should switch your front break lever over to the left hand side so your left hand can be for break and right hand be for throtol.
-you can run 1 piston ring for higher rpm.

You don't have to remove the rear brake. What makes it bad is the "stretchiness" in the leavers. I suggest going to the local bike shop and replacing the leavers with BMX ones, they are a lot better. There is no stretch in the leavers, therefore to make the pads work they don't have to be half on already. Make sense?

the use of running 1 piston ring will give less drag to the cylinder which creates more rpm but the chinese piston rings are very soft compared to japanese rings so i would not recommend the use of 1 ring unless you have plenty of spares available.
