Question hmm! berrings!

hey hey! long time no been on here! ok here is the thing!
i keep braking wheel berrings! ahh! the set on the rear rim!
(being a skateboarder - W.A BOWL SCUM etc) i know the facts of these lil spinners!
so for all i know, all is in great order, spacers arnt rubbing on the berring face etc etc.. but! i turn my rear wheel, and im hearing a nice loud click! only once every 3-4spins.
been thru 3 berrings now! haha! oh i mite add, both sides have been busted!
i am puzzled! the old man knows of this place in malaga (perth) thats a berring joint, yet i thought id get you guys to have a think for me, since you all know about pocket bikes and berrings, they only know berrings and calender girls ha ha!

thanks for any help or ideas!

Hey Daz. The only thing I can really think of is if the metal tube that runs up the centre of the axle isn't in there or is badly sized for your rim then when you clamp tighten up the rear axle nuts the inner races will be getting squashed.

Does that make sense ? Without that centre tube to support the inner bearing races you'll have a huge lateral force on the inner bearing race which will cause them to wear out extremely quickly.

POCKETRACINGBIKES is an unknown quantity at this point
crash has hit the nail on the head, without that inner tube you will have problems. nachi bearings or skf are pretty good and last a while, even doing wheelies they can take a fair wack........

ahhh! dead smack on indeed! the tube (one that go's over the axle) is far to big in open diamater, for that, squishing the berring while i spin it!
hahahaha thanks! all rights to call me an idiot .. time for bunnings for some tube!
