blata elite 13wr rep

i just got my brand new blata elite 13wr rep and im currently running it in.
had the first little ride today and hit band, omg wat was i doin stuffing round with the cag???
although it so bloody small. smaller than my cag andgive true meaning to pocket bike as i reckon i could nearly put it in my pocket.
dunno how long i will keep it because its so uncomfortable to ride coz it so small and im 6ft.

went over it tighten all the bolts and aligned the sprockets and wat not, and all seems to b ok. for now anyway.lol
the only problem i have found is the water bottle lid is crap and leaks. whether its the bottle or lid, im not sure but they both r goin into the bin asap

1st question: any1 got a genuine bottle and lid they want to sell??( will post this bit in the classifieds)

2nd question: wat can i do now to help performance?? not parts, i mean tuning, changing things on the stock bits, and anything i should be aware of with the blata rep engine??

do a search im sure you can rebuild the stock caps to work, and save a few $$. they come put together the wrong way or something

as for the motor probably just check the RPM the clutch comes in at and make sure its right and also check the squish. IIRC the blata motors come with a wide squish like the banshees. clean up the ports and what not and maybe make your own reed spacer. they make a good difference in the blata motors.

pretty sure i have a blata bottle and cap if rebuilding it doesnt work for you. let me know when you try it

good to hear you like the bike. good news is the bzm and polini motors is twice as fast again always room to improve!

yes the cap should have a rebuild guide on this forum or one of the others, if not ozminimoto keep the genuine blata coolant bottle

as for tuning make sure you put a new NGK plug in it the chinese plugs are rubbish & the 19mm carb kit should do the job depending on the emulsion tube
the 2 stroke tube must be used as the 4 stroke tube has holes in it & will not work well with a 2 stroke

im getting sikkos 19mm carby which i think came off one of these bikes so should be sweet. tried to fix the lid but it seemed ok so i think its the thread on the bottle which is crap and doesnt want the lid to go on straight. it goes tight then loose, tight then loose.

the bike actually came with a ngk plug in it. but will b changing it anyways.

on another note. can the stock carby b used on a cag as is?? obviously need the manifold to suit tho.

the stock carb from the elite rep is a 14/14 dell rep so yes its the most common carb used on cags with a alloy inlet to suit a aircooled engine

was running the bike today on the stand and heard a like a rattle from the clutch area so i pulled off the bell housing and to my surprise it has a adjustable 3 shoe clutch on it. so im pretty happy with that. although its only the chinese type its better than stock.
1 of the spring nuts were looser and letting the spring slide up n down loosely.
