| ive had a few watercooled bikes. ive had 2 blata reps and one of them is exactly the same as yours.
when i bought it, the brakes were rubbing, so i had to loosen them alot. the wheels were out of alaignment, so i had to sort that also.
these are the mods i would do:
-i would hold back on the carby upgrade until you get a 46cc top end, the 14mm is sufficient for a 39cc.
-definately get a set of blata reeds, they are around $35
-get the squish set properly
-make a reed block out of a plastic chopping board. they are usually around 7mm and will increase reed lift
-match the ports
-replace bearings and seals
-bzm clutch
-ngk spark plug
i prefer to run water in my bikes because it doesnt make a mess when you try taking the engine out.
break it in at 25:1 fuel ratio then when racing run it at 35:1
the mods can be expensive, but i would recommend accumulating them over time. order the parts every few weeks, then when you have everything you can either make it yourself or send it to someone to have it machined for the squish and assembled.
if its your first bike, i recommend you dont mod your bike until you have all of the parts to have it assembled in one go. until then, run the engine as hard as you can. make sure the clutch is tuned and get used to the way your bike handles, then upgrade when you get confident
