B1 replica tuning

What are the best and most effecient mods for the MT-a4?

I had a 49cc CAG before this and still have some brand new parts I bought for it that I can fit on the water cooled, however I would like your opinion on what to do.

I have a 19mm delorto replica carb still in the box.. should I fit this or is it a waste of time? Up to now the bike is standard apart from me setting the standard clutch. I also got a new clutch that only differs from the original by having the pads slightly smaller, and sets up with a nut instead of the standard allen key, the shop said I should fit this. Also will replace the plug with a NGK

What else should I do?

squish is the gap between the top of the pistion and the head at top dead center. there is a few ways to check this

1) is to get a fine peice of solder about .7mm thick soft solder and take your spark plug out make the solder into a 'L' shape put it down the hole and hole it there and pull the pull start so it turns the motor over pull the solder out and measue the squashed bit with digital calipers or similer device thingy
2) the other way is to drain all the liquid from the engin and unbolt the head. lay the solder so its across the center of the pistion and apply a little bit of sticky tape to hold the solder there make sure the sloder goes across the top of the pistion and right to the edge (tad short dont matter) than rebolt the head up and pull the starter over again so the motor does one rotation. unbolt and measure

to ajust the squish gap you need to take the barral off and add/remove base gaskets and keep doing it untill you reach desierd squish (usally .5mm)

if any info is incorrect please correct me.
