B1 replica- mt-a4 loosing top end and response

Hi!

Just got a MT-A4 ( B1 rep) and have some problems (as expected).

1. it puts all the water out from the resevoir tank after less than a minute of riding it. How can this be solved?

2. now it lost a lot of throttle response. when you push it on a straight as soon as it hits a certain revs it looses power. When left running sometimes it idles to high then you open the throttle and it reacts with pause better if you give it gradually..... cleaned the carb for nothing.

Had a similar problem with a batch of these bikes at Archerfield, just by replacing the water bottles solved the boil overs.

there may be a water bottle cap rebuild thread around try using the search option u may find some info i remember the early bikes had problems with caps, if that's where its pushing the water out

other power loss & hesitation problem could be jetting, so do a plug chop.
make sure you are running a brand new NGK plug before chasing down problems

The bike is brand new, used it only once. The water bottle cap does not close proplerly, and the plug is standard.

Thanks for your help!! will start buy replacing the plug as the bike ran fine for a bit than it started loosing top end.

As for the reservoir, any place on the net where I can buy a decent replacement bottle??
