tyre pressure??

hey ive just bought new 2 zyhongya slicks front and back with rims, axles, bearings, chain tensioners, all spacers, washers and bolts all new for $60 for the lot. from a shop in melbourne. the ones i had where trashed and had no grip wat so ever

r these tyres any good?

wats the ideal pressure for these tyres? i weigh 83kgs.

i can feel the difference in ride instantly. heaps smoother ride.

on another note. gearing for good pick up so its wants to wheelie out of corners but still has good top speed. if that is possible with a cag.
keep in mind the bike wil hav head kit, f/c crank, 14 or 15mm carby, pipe and carbon reeds.

which shop did you get them from?
what other pocketbike stuff do they have?

zhongyas are a good budget tyre in my opinion. there are tyres that are much better, but they are cheap tyres and they are obviously working for you.
i usually pump my cag tyres up until they are firm and stay round when i sit on the bike

there is a gearing chart on this site type in 'sprockets and speed' into your search space
the bigger the rear sprocket the more pick up the smaller the the rear the faster
the bigger the front sprockedt the faster and the smaller the front sprocket the more pick up
as for tyre pressue it will varey from diffrent temptrues and thet amount of rubber on the track..

its called nightingales electrics. on the corner of spencer st and dudley st. they hav full pocketbikes which they arent allowed to sell complete so they r selling all parts except frames. the have a big pile of bikes upstairs. u have to take the parts off urself. the bikes r literally laying on top of each other.
they are crappy bikes pretty much. they hav the small pb's and the bigger size like x2's. havnt really paid much attention to them. plenty of tyres and rims for both tho

Keep them under 18psi and they should run sweet. Anything over 20psi can get a bit shakey mid-corner and anything over 22psi means you'll have shit grip.

Zhonga, easily the best china tyre. Even better when treated with tyre grip
