leaking overflow.

just noticed that on my mates pocket bike it was leaking alot of fuel from the overflow when the tap is on and when the tap is off it just drips

what could be the problem and what i need to fix it ?

Probably dirt or something stuck in the float valve. Remove the bowl from the bottom of the carby, remove the float and clean the area where the fuel flows into the bowl. If you don't know what I am talking about then do a search.
