Walbro wt-603 Carb problems!

Hey, Happy to be apart of the forums here. I've already started a thread with my walbro problems, After looking around here I've seen that MAC90 Is the Walbro Master and I was hoping he may be able to shed some light on my situation. Any chance you could have a look at my thread on a differnt website and post here, saving me reposting 1000's of words and about 10 pics! heres the link, Thanks

The 1 that pushes the fuel up is most likely a fuel-return line? I think you're supposed to connect it to your tank, just like your fuel-line and any excess fuel that passes through your Carb returns to the tank... eventually. No need to put a filter on your return line!

had a quick read
yes it sounds like you have got the inlet line on the outlet nozzel

ok i cant view the pics unless i sign up to pocketbike planet, butif your carb is installed correctly with the pump to the top then connect as follows

the BOTTOM connection is the (inlet) side to draw fuel in
& the top connection right by the primer pump is the return line (outlet)

if when pumped the fuel flows back UP the clear return line then its is ok

as for what i read about the choke touching the gasket ??
the carb should be installed so the choke is on the airfilter side where you can see it (without the filter on)

Yeah, The fuel Lines are hooked up correctly. Bottom is inlet and top is return, it does pump gas/air up the return line when the ball is pressed, the ball doesnt fill with gas tho, The choke problems has all been figured out, I was really wondering about the Pulse port on the carb, The intake manifold has a pulse port and they do line up, But my reed cage didn't have one, I carefully drilled one and I put a hole in the gasket too, Is fuel sopposed to flow through the pulse port? My latest problem is on the second page of the thread, Thanks again for the help.

have you drilled the return line into the bottom of the tank? i would imagine it needs to flow into the top of the tank to work properly (right mac? lol)

i ran mine without the return line. just press the primer bulb and fuel should flow out of the return.

from the sounds of it you really do have the carb on backwards. how did you solve the choke problem? i hope by putting the carb on the correct way

further more does the engine even work with the stock carb?

drilling the hole in your reed cage is a no no you will lose crankcase compression through it as it cant seal
return usually gos in the top of the tank tho its shouldn't really matter

as for the primer bulb not filling with fuel it may not matter as long as it will prime the carb & the carb has fuel getting to it

mine usually has fuel in it you just may not notice it because its full ??
