Green one is 0.40mm. The blue are thinner however its in my CAG which is being picked up today. I would think they'd be approx 0.3mm. What bike are you using them for? For a CAG i've found the blue performs better as it gives a better low and mid range and still revs high. The green revs a little harder but takes longer to get there. I've got 2 spare green ones if you're interested?

Thanks dude, but i dont need to get any of these reeds,as i already got them,i just need to know the sizes without having to pull it out of my motor just yet,.
Ive had both the blue and greens in my motor(extensively ported 50cc pollini 5 port)ive found the blues are crazy as in the bottom to mid but the top end is lacking now,the bike is almost unridable even with 7-67gearing,the greens still give it a half decent amount of take off but it has a stronger powerband and top end.
Why im asking for these measurements is because i wana chase down a set of bzm carbon reeds that are in between the thickness of the blue and green pollini reeds This would give the best of both worlds, great, but not crazy down low and still perform well up high where the blue pollinis die on my engine
Cheers

Sweet. I would aim for a thickness of around 0.35 as a compromise. I found that with my CAG as well. They both had pro's and cons but something in between would be ideal.

They certainly do. A thinner reed will open more at low and mid revs but will tend to flutter or open too much at higher revs reducing crankcase compression whereas the thicker reed will open the optimum amount at high revs but will be a bit stiffer down low reducing low end power.

I think it also depends on carby size as well, as a bigger throated carb will allow a stiffer reed to open furthar than a smaller carb. I run a walbro which has a comparibly smaller venturi thats why the blue, thinner reed works well. If i was to fit say a 17mm dellorto i imagine the green reed would probably work better.

Man i'm missing mucking around with my bike already and it hasn't even been picked up yet...... Oh well i have a stocky to play with.

If you like your top end you can always adjust your clutch up a bit to help with the bottom end.
