Hey guys, i'm having some trouble, and cant actually get my bike going properly.
I was racing yesterday with no troubles, well a few times when i was revving high, it would drop to nothing, and i'd have to let go of the throttle, and rev it up again to stop it stalling.
I got home after racing and running my tank dry, bought some new 98 octane fuel, and put it in with oil of course, then my mates came over and the bike would just not go properly. It was cuttin out at all rev ranges, and quite randomly. It still starts fine, but i cant get any power ( sometimes i can for about 30m ), and it stalls heaps.
I've adjusted the idle, cleaned out the carby, including the main part, not just the bowl, and even taken the jet out ect.
I've checked fuel flow is good, so that doesnt seem to the the problem.
My NGK spark plug was a bit black, but i've seen worse and tried even putting my stock one back in and still no luck.
Over the last week or so i've put in a new alloy filter, jet pro exhaust, advanced timing key, and finally yesterday I put in fibreglass reeds.
I'm quite sure i installed everything correctly.
ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as the only thing i can think of now is buying a new carby, though that will have to wait, and I had planned on that anyway.
Cheers in advance guys
Jordan

pretty sure its sorted guys, was something stupid, sharp lines sorted me out.
just had to sand paper the plug n turn it over a few times with the plug out.
only took it to the end of the street and back, but before it would cut out twice just doing that. didnt bogg down either.
i'll post on here again if its happening again, but otherwise ignore this post.
thanks

Ok guys, that didn't fix it, and over the last 2 weeks, the problem has gotten worse. now it wont even barely go, i can make it to the end of the street if im lucky, and i got to keep it revving low otherwise it cuts out on me.
i've since then straightened the fuel lines... but when i came in from my last run down the street, i pulled into my driveway n when it was idling, it made loud high pitched clanking noises, so i tightened the chain. also i found out that the flywheel is rubbing a little on the ignition part...
the bike wont even start atm, but im putting it down to the flywheel as i took it off before... im about to fix that hopefully, but the cutting out problem is still there, and does it at all rev ranges now.
if anyone knows anything, i quick reply would be great, im hoping to go racing tmoro..
cheers

and too add to that, i think i over tightened the chain or something, because i took the flywheel off again, and my advanced timing key had been shredded in half... the flywheel crank doesnt turn smoothely, so it wasnt that the fly wheel was rubbing on the outside ignition magnets..

id say your timing key shread be asue the fly wheel wasnt all the way on the crank shaft my banshee had the same prob it would go so far and rub on the cases and i broke to keys so i filed the back off the fly wheel with a flat file alowing it to go on further so it all fitted propley taking the pressere of the key. as for the chain dont have it to tight it can case your crank to un balance/twist.
Hey mate. Im pretty sure I know what your problem is. Lammas right?? anyway mine did the same thing and it was cos the breather hole in the fuel cap is crap. Unscrew your cap so its loose and sticky tape it down then take it for a run. When I was runing it at high revs a vacumm would build up in the tank after a couple of laps and it would cut out.
i have a lammas group bike and have a simmilar problem but i already have a breather on my cap(that i made) that works perfectly so i don't think it is that...
