Settin it up.

Hey
I just recieved my head kit from ozminimoto. (lookin nice btw)
I have just put the piston ring onto the piston upside dow..
How can i get it off?? (last time i broke the rings so i dont wanna do that again)

Also what way does the piston face? With thge arrow or port (window wat eva you call it) on which side?

Also what does thje Port or window in the piston do?

Thanks

bahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry that was so funny the arrow goes to the exhuest port so the port in the piston faces the extra port in the cylinder. I got the same kit started first go

you will need rings for a 44mm piston

its a fine line when taking rings off & also putting them on again because they are brittle & hardened
u just have to work them out of the slot without streaching them starting at one side & open them so they slide over the piston evenly
then its a matter of slipping them on or off

its probbly best to practice a few times with a old piston & rings from the stocker

if you have 1 spare unbroken ring from the last set ya broke u can just use them as long as they were 44mm rings & not worn out!!

& arrow pointing to the front of bike or to exhaust port

thanks...
yesterday was a bad day for my pocket bike..
as i was trying to pull the clutch off (so i could get the crank case Apart)
i broke all the legs off my standard clutch....
i am 14 and weight about 50 clothed...
Should i get a2 shoe or 3 shoe clutch?

I didnt think that the standard one was too bad at engaging in time though...

I thought i could probably weld them back on but that more unwanted weight on the clutch which would marginally slow thw bike down wouldnt it?

EDIT: Would these fit? And isnt $10 postage a bit extensive? they could fit in a 50c Envolope...
