i have been doing a few mods here & tested some different combos & stuff

over the next few days i will be posting mods specs & pics of a cag engine i built that is starting to show some real potential

well i was shaking like a leaf after a short test run but i will get some video footage of the bike on the next test run list all mods & let you guys decide what you think

so ill keep ya posted pics & video should be up late next week

What parts have you been mucking around with MAC? Is it the head, carby reeds?

a little of all
ill post the list of mods as i dont race it wont hurt me in letting out my mod combo secrets, im sure others have better combos & mods but this is just to help some cag owners trying to get a little more out of their aircooled cag's

& what works for me may not work for others & some may not agree etc... but its just a post for people on a budget using mainly chinese parts

i still have not had the chance to fully test it or make a video, but ill post a couple of pics just been busy last week or so

specs are not alot to go by but this is them ill add more if i remember anything else

* jet pro replica pipe (china)
* green polini Carbon reed
* modded chinese reed block (to suit polini reed)
* single boost port deburred 3 piece ADA copy billet head kit 44mm & windowed piston to suit
* 15:1 interchangable compression dome set @ 0.7mm squish

* full circle crank (chinese)
* genuine WT-603
* genuine ada inlet manifold
* modified gaskets for pulse hole in Carb
* 6/62 thick pitch gearing
* billet alloy vstack
* stock 3 shoe clutch with 10 turn thick gague springs
* stock clutch bell with outer bering support & cap
* NGK-R CR6HSA plug


polini green reed & 20mm X 25 mm modded stock cag reed block square bore with tapered inlet side

when i have some spare cash ill order a polini blue reed to try but the green dosnt seem 2 stiff

here is a pic of the engine b4 i went genuine walbro & polini reed nothing 2 flash but has a lil BLING about it


i got a race lined up with cliffo (aka green machine) & a RD engine soon so we will see how she gos against a well built RD race engine

try using the cr7hsa aswell thats wat i have in my engine

hey mac have you ever tried a walbro ?? this is just imo but the walbro's can be a bit tempromentle they are decent carbies but i have found them useless on a pocket bike but thats imo good stuff with the reeds tho ive been thinkin of tryin somthing similar but not sure yet ??

yeah love my walbro's i got rid of the leaky troublesome dell rep as soon as i could
i have not found any problems with the genuine walbros YET

sadley iv done my shoulder in so wont be on the cag until its all healed

if you do try this mod im sure you will notice the difference in all round performance no matter what carb you run as it lets them brethe alot better
