stock category racing

hey guys, clueless newbie here. just trying to get some clarification on the rules for stock racing. I got several different answers when i enquired

Couple of questions! (btw, these rules are for acherfield in qld)

2.13 Reed block: Standard CAG only
2.14 Reeds: Material open

whats the best chinese reeds? are lucky7 fiberglass reeds considered stock chinese reeds?

2.16 Tyres: Smooth or grooved Chinese manufactured tyres only.
What the best stock chinese tyes? Zhongya?

How strict is the ruling on exhaust? i got a stocko bike with a siktoys exhaust(picture in my gallery) and its about 3mm too long past the seat fairing...

and lastly! how come Hydraulic brakes arent permitted?

2.13 Reed block: Standard CAG only (no modifing your stock reed block & no twin petal ada type reed cage )
2.14 Reeds: Material open
(chinese triple stage reeds i have found work well)
2.16 Tyres: Smooth or grooved Chinese manufactured tyres only (Zhongya or there is a new brand of slick tyre from china cant remember the brand name & have not heard much about them YET)

yes lucky 7 reeds are fine
the best bang for buck would have to be tripple stage reeds
(you must keep you original reed block but what you put in the block doesnt have to be from china)

yes Zhongya are the best of the china tyres ( i would never use china tyres myself)

if its hanging over by 3mm but is a rounded mufler (like fatboy) i couldnt see it being a problem

hydraulic brakes i think have been approved for racing at that track

Thanks for the info guys. I was originally told stock was stock (ie, straight out of the box) so im glad i looked into it. would have been a handicap and a half using those chinese tin reeds
