mini r1 questions

does anyone have a pic of the standard 2 stroke mini r1 coil, the standard pull start and measurements for mini r1 rims?
even better if anyone has a link to a shop where they have any of these would be much appreciated. i checked ozminimoto but they only have 4 stroke r1 coils.
cheers
chris

ozscoot had them i think, but they closed down a long time ago, and carterraceengines probably had them, but they closed down too. i recommend you try viperformance in bayswater, Vic, but be careful, they are a little over priced...

and yes the r1's run on 12v scooter batteries like the ones found on ebay.

the r1 pull starts look like this:
http://flyservers.registerfly.com/me...-pullstart.jpg

the r1 coils look like this:
http://www.pocketbikesunlimited.com/ELECTRICAL.html (5th item from the top)

and the rims have a circumference of about 1000mm (1m).

hope this helps

yea they look like the right pull start and coil. and no the cag rims will most likely not fit on the r1 as they are a different size. if you are looking for replacement r1 rims, you could try ebay, ebay america, pbu america, or viperformance in bayswater, victoria.

the only hard bits to find (so far) have been the rim, tyre and brake assemblies. everything else is just damn expensive.

how is the front sprocket held on? from what i've seen it just slides on over the CVT output shaft but there's nothing to make it stay there???
