Help 4 newbie (pocket quad)

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me why my quad (49cc) will not pull me (85kg)? It is brand new (2 tanks of fuel so far)What am I doing wrong? My 8 year old goes ok, but won't move with me on it. Is this normal?

Thanks

Yep and any crack /seam will do that(lot of excess oil/junk) all used for lube
I take it your are still running in( look through old posts)

4 bolts chain side drop chain undo and remove black cover and hay presto slipper clutch in ya face

look on ebay or something at 2 shoe or 3 shoe ajustable`s

Be carefull set up for you poss may be to mutch force and throw wheeles with the little one on it

I Havent played with the small quad,s

grab a 3 shoe non ajustable with 10 turn springs it will let it rev a lil more b4 the clutch engages
i wouldnt put a 2 shoe on a miniquad it just wont last long especially if not ajusted correctly
chain tension if it has no suspension give the chain a little slack
quads with rear suspension need to be ajusted with maximum load on the quad !!!

85 kgs is getting hard for a mini quad to pull so go over breaks and the tow in out on the front so the quad will roll easily you can ajust the wheel nuts if you find one wheel is not turning freely

and give it a push off each time this will save you revving its hole out and going through clutches fast

another thing is to clean the clutch pads and clutch bell so its free from oily residue & pad dust

if its a new quad it may take a little while to loosen up but 85 kgs is getting to its maximum limits for take off

see how ya go with that and let us know how it went ?
