The $15 is just the way the site is set up.
It allows for multiable items @ $15, so to send the reeds only it would only be $5.50, this is sent registered post aswell.

i wouldn,t risk just putting these reeds in a normal envelope just to save on postage as breakage could occur from aust post sorting machines.

i got my reeds in an envelope just put a layer of bubble rap over it a sheet mabs like 100mm*100mm

legine, how can this comparison be done without the use of a tension meter. eg; stock tin reeds feel the same as carbon when slightly lifted but the carbon reeds work alot better than the tin reeds. if in doubt stick with stock stuff.
