What's the best?

Say I sell my pitbike and I have around $3000 to spend which bike would be the best for the price?

Choices:

DM Telai

Blata B1 Origami

GRC Moto RSR

They all seem unreal but I wouldn't have a clue which is better? Any other suggestions?

They are all good bikes. I wouldnt make up my mind before you have a look, sit on them possibly get yourself a test ride. The best bike will be the one that suits you best.

If buying second hand, consider the spares and work that has been done to the bike and by the bike.

Dont limit yourself to a particular brand when they are all very good

Thanks Greeny,

That might not be an option though if your buying interstate, but I agree with you. I assume being quality spares wouldn't be a problem....

If you fingd a bike that is interstate, go to your local club and see if someone has one. If they do, have a chat about them. Ask if you can have a sit on it etc etc. If they offer you a spin take it for a spin. Most of us mini-moto guys want to grow the sport and would be happy to let someone take our bike for a lap if it meant having a new competitor in the field.

Personally i would go with the DM or GRC because it seems thant Blata race parts are quite expensive and the DM and GRC can run polini and bizeta engines + raceparts which are well priced and abundant. But ultimately buy the one that you feel most confident and comfortable riding.

Yeah I know, I planning a trip to Archerfield race track to check the place and bikes out. I personally like the look of the DM & the GRC over the Blata but looks isn't everything! Plus I still have to sell the pitbike before I do anything! I wish it would sell...

definitely go with a blata elite if you have to go blata. they are a much better handling bike. i dont like how the rear frame seems to be one piece though and quite thin. if you bent it youd have to replace the whole frame and knowing blata parts that would probably cost $1500 lmao. theres a elite with a bzm setup in nsw and its sooo fast..

but the GRC and DM would be my 2nd choice, 1st would be a stamas, there so light, so easy to work on and i hear they handle way better then a RR.

but in saying that the GRC is built like a brick sh*thouse and you only need to look at how many 2005 model bikes are still going around as good as new to see how robust they are.

i want a bms personally but ive never ridden one or hear how they ride. they just look so awesome.

my choices

1) Stamas SR
2) BMS
3) GRC RR 2006 model
4) DM

I really like the look of the Blata Elite bikes but was told at 6' 3" I would be better off on a Origami. Don't know how the other bikes are size wise? The DM is my first choice followed by the GRC. Whats a BMS? Any pics?

Thanks for the other info....

yes you were told right, i am 6' 4' and i have a origami the elite is a bit smaller, i found the origami was easier for me to ride, not that there is much out there you can ride with ease when you are 6' 4'.
