hey do u hapend to live in perth/

also it all depends on how ur bike is setup
if ur bike goes 57 km thats good and if it gets up to that speed in 70 metres it aint to bad my bike does about 65-70 but i got 62 tooth gearing so it take a little bit to get to that but not to long maybe 15 secs

if you are racing you should check with other guys as to what gearing they are running with simular engine set ups to yours, i feel the 54 rear is abit in the higher gearing for race circuits , especially if the track is tight. as you may know most cags come stock with either 6 -68 or 7- 68 gearing.

that would be your "powerband" kicking in. seams like your powerband is set to kick in at very high RPM. not shure whats the best time to have it kick in or how to tune it. i belive you can tune it with a good pipe and maby a carby, would have to ask RD RACING about that.

with your current gearing plus a stock cylinder head i doubt very much that there is any powerband effect at low rpms, your engine is only showing you its low end torque.
