I bought my pocketbike off ebay and had no trouble, but it was actually the second pocketbike I bought, the first one never showed up! :x I ended up getting refunded though, but be careful because there are a lot of even dodgier operators out there who won't refund you. I can recommend this ebay seller as good because he shipped my bike from Melbourne to northern NSW in 3 days. They're called siftech168 and you can see the bikes they've got for auction http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQfgtpZ...3aMEWAQ3aMESOI

But if you're in Melbourne or Sydney you'd probably be better off going to see Carterraceengines or Ozscoot. Out here in the sticks it's probably easier to ebay

it seems people are of two minds about buying of ebay (I think it's fine as long as you're willing to do a little work yourself and are not expecting to get a race winning machine )

i bought my pocket bike off ebay. i had no problems with the bike!!! you just have to do some research and shop around.

tips: buy ur bike off a 'power seller'. or a business... the sellers who sell heaps of bikes. these people are more reliable. i got mine off a guy in victoria. i think his ebay name was buydirect or something like that.

i bought my bike off ebay a couple of weeks ago, havent had any problems yet only ridden it a few times (not into racing or anything)

If you were planning on racing or doing alot of mods you would be better off buying from a shop or a local guy as you guys say
