After a genuine 49cc CAG for <$250

Hey all, i know you will probably criticise me for wanting a cheap cag really this is the best entry point for new people to the sport as i don't imagine alot of people have $1000 - $5000 to spend on their first one.

I am looking to purchase a cheap CAG just to get a feel for the sport, i don't really mind if it doesn't last long.

I want one that is a genuine 49cc and under $250. Can anyone recommend a seller that is selling genuine 49cc's ?

There is two that i have looked at that seem ok

SAMURAI RED 49CC 2006 Model Pocket Bike FULL FAIRING sold by electronicssurpluswarehouse

and

NEW EXTREME R1 2006 Pocket BIKE 49cc Scooter Gas(red)
sold by ebusiness_supplies (although i heard this guy was selling 40cc late last year, does anyone know if this has changed?

legine is an unknown quantity at this point
both those bikes aren't 49cc, only 40.2cc
the buyer "nu_age_ware" sell great bikes, they are proper 49cc bikes
my friend got one and it really flies.

Thanks for that, although his bikes are $299 + $99 postage. I could almost get a lucky 7 for that but i don't really want to spend any more than $250 including postage.

Is there anyone that has genuine 49cc for cheaper ?\

Also what about these Half Fairing 47cc Samurais are these really 47cc?

Basically i'm just after the fastest bike for little money =) Also which of the cheaper bikes has decent amount of mods and has spare parts available?

there is no such thing as a 47cc, it is just another way of saying 40.2cc,
just to explain, in the engine there is a wrist pin, if the wrist pin is 10mm the bike will be a 40.2cc(other known as 47cc)

if the pin is 12mm then it is a proper 49cc.

nu_age_ware is the only seller i know on ebay who sells 49cc bikes.

but another good seller is" dmmcimports"
the bikes aren't 49cc but they are really quick, well-built and reliable.

hope this helps, btw to get a good bike you will have to pay more than $250. if you find one on ebay for less than $300 it is likely that:

it is not 49cc
not reliable at all
will fall apart
wont last long

i have a bike for sale that has been used THREE TIMES ONLY!!!!
i bought it for $360, here is the link:

http://www.pocket-bike-racing.com.au...about5669.html

if ur interested, PM me, im in sydney, willing to ship

Hey your bike is just one of the ones that dmmcimports sells, i realise that it has mods etc. but they are only $199 new from him.

Why are you selling it ? Approx how fast did it go standard? And how fast now that u have those extra mods?

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
the owner of nu-age-wares is a very good friend of mine and i highly recommend him and his bikes, all of his bikes are set spot on before leaving his store, all is checked how they should be, if you can grab a deal from this supplier i would go for it.

mate i purchased the bike for $360 and the mods make all the difference!!!

there are over $150 worth of upgrades, i am selling it because i have no time to ride it because i race motocross.

the first time i rode it, it was stock (not going full throttle), it was keeping up with a 49cc with an advanced timing key.

the second ride i installed the advanced timing key and it really made a big difference, i was riding quicker than all my friends!!!!

the third and final ride i installed the fatboy, triple stage reeds, alloy hook footpegs and heavy duty clutch springs, man did the bike fly!!!!!
i must of been getting 65-70kph. it felt like 100kph being so low to the ground.

keep in mind the bike was run-in properly with a 25:1 fuel ratio with Motul two-stroke oil and PREMIUM unleaded & i am only asking $300

thnx, daniel
