it will cost you 20 to 30 to have it welded by a pro.
i know what I would do.
the frames that are available are over priced to the shizen housin..
I have been told to fit a bolt with a piece of copper tube between the frames where the spare holes are to stop the flex under crash load which makes sence.
havn't done it though.
have had one welded and is fine.

AzRaZ RaCiNg is an unknown quantity at this point
One of the guys at our track in south morang Vic, makes up
2 aluminium dowels that bolt on underneath. These spread the load
during a come off. They cost me $20.00. Its cheap insurance
as far as I'm concerned.

PM me if you want to see pics.

Cheers

Az- I was thinking of doing the same thing...have the like a brace from one side to the other..but I think in a crash it could still snap? and maybe snap both??

Thinking about what you said. Yep, it just might under the right
circumstances. I've seen all sorts of bits snap, But only one frame
piece has been broken and welded at the south morang track that I
know of. Also the bike is piloted by my son. Kids just seem to break the
oddest things. The senior class seems to do the most damage during a
come off. Its a matter of choice and what you feel comfortable with.
Just helping the cause.
