I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with shipping pocket bikes?
Any companies and quotes so far?

depends on where u sending the bike. i think its roughly $100 through australia post. could be wrong tho. but i dont think they will send the tank if its had fuel in it.
probably doesnt help but anywayz.

not 100% sure. but its based on a brand new cag in the box. to pretty much any major city in oz.

Should cost under $100 dollars and they pack it for you

Box, padding, bubble wrap etc.

sounds like a better option as i wouldnt trust the post to much. especially with delicate things.
ive worked in freight handling and have experienced the "who gives a shit" attitude first hand.

hope im not offending any posties out there.

try contact a few bus company's
we used to get alot large boxes & parcels shipped from SA & VIC via bus as they worked out alot cheaper than most transport company's

anything around the size of a large suitcase was fine,if the bike is a used bike be sure to drain all fuel from the carb & tank, flush the tank with warm soapy water so no petrol smell is present

yep pack send where who i used i think. i packed it up myself (the push bike shops give you the boxes for free) and they charged me $80 to send a cag up to queensland.

very happy with how they handled everything too. i couldnt find anything easier or cheaper

i used toll there good but my brothers worked for them and yes make sure its well packed other wise it will cop a beating on the way over i mean there realy rough with there stuff. saying that nothing has ever broken or gone missing *touch wood*
