Tightening the Throttle???

Just wondering if anyone can give me any info about tightening the throttle, my throttle turns the opposite way by about 3cm, and the bike is a little less responsive on the throttle now, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

you have to adjust the little nut on top of the carb out or the nut on the back of the throttle out to take up the slack in the cable

theres a black sleeve that covers the adjuster up on the throttle.
