unit_01 is on a distinguished road
throttle problem

well, i have got 4 CAGS and me Blata and 2 of my cags throttles are screwed. Like when i pull down on the throttle it just stays down and doesnt spring back up. Wat must i do to fix this cos it is very annoying. any help wpuld be appreciated.

is there a spring in the throttle assembly that goes into the carby ?

yeha mate, there is. Its at the really end of the throttle cable where the brass needle is then the washer then the spring on top. dont know why it aint workin properly....

the end cap of the throttle may be touching on the bar end making it tight or it sounds like the cable is crimped or corroded

replace the cables with new ones should fix it, to test if its the cable use a cable from a bike with no throttle problems

yeah mate! you got it in good order!
but! id say aswell, repace it! ive had 2 throttle cables get jammed over the time of my cags!
