My orion 125cc pit bike wont spark

Hi, Ive just put my 125cc orion pit bike back 2geva after it has been apart for about a year, I have checked the engine over and cleaned the carb out. There is full compression and nothing seems to be blocking the fuel but the bike wont spark. My younger brother took the electrics apart so i dont know wot goes where. Does anyone a) know why the bike wont spark, B) have a diagram on how to connect electrics. I did have an electric start on it but we removed the battery after the starter motor broke.

Sounds like a crossed wire or a loose connection, though it should all be pretty straight forward, If you have a friend with a simular bike, compare the 2.

It also could be your cdi or coil, double check everything etc and give it another go.

Also some bare wire shorting against the frame, kill switch etc........ theres a lot it could be, but its most likely something very simple.

That loom is very simple, and it ALL needs to be hooked up, for the bike to function lol..... all of about 3 wires :S

My money is on either your CDI has shit its self, or you have some wires crosses somewhere, reverse the wires on the back of the coil, rip the plug out, earth it to the frame and kick the bike over, geting spark yet ? double check, make sure everything is connected correctly, ie red to red black to black etc........ try it again, this time flip the kill switch :P
