Any info would be appreciated

Hey all,

I'm new to this scene.
Mate's doing up a 49cc R1 rep and i want to get similar so we can race together.

This photo is of one i've seen that I like. Its got the rubber engine mounts and hasn't been started yet at all. They want $450.

Can anyone tell me how they go and what class i would be for Melb Mini Moto club?

second hand or from a shop?
if you want to race, youy will have alot more fun if you buy a CAG or a watercooled bike. they are much smaller but are faster and alot more people race them and they are easier and cheaper to modify. r1 engines (piston port) arent as good to modify as they are slow and unpopular so mods are hard to find and are expensive and they still wont run anywhere as good as a watercooled bike or a modded CAG.
