could be an idea, but the amount of effort its going to take, makes me want to just start one half of the engine first, with that one plug out kinda way

with the electronic starter made from a 12 v car or large CC motorcycle 6v starter you would only need to mount it to a frame or stand the right height so it is sitting on the ground if your worried about it twisting

with big enough handles on it i doubt twisting would be a big issue as 100cc kart engines would have as much if not more compression than 2X 50 cc cags mounted together

you do have to push the bike back to the starter if it cuts out
id just set the idle higher than usual to solve stalling or cutting out

you could make a inboard starter from a 6volt motorbike starter & battery just mount & connect the starter motor to a full alloy starter housing & get rid of the pull start rope & internal spring

Get an electric drill and a socket to fit the nut on the flywheel..
Take the pull starter off..
Stick the socket onto the flywheel and pull trigger...

get one of the alloy ones so you can take of the top part and still protec the flywheel and start it at the same time

ok...i have finally gotten round to putting the engine into the bike (Been sick for the past few days), however there are a few issues...firstly, the engine sticks waaaaaay out the right side of the bike, secondly, its current position covers the right foot peg, so i may have to make a new mount for the engine to move it forward...and lastly...i need some fuel hose.

i will try to get some pics up later on tonight, when i can get access to the camera.

after having a look at this site again, i see a few discerning things about this engine...both cylinders fire at the same time...and, sharing a single crank case is a bit questionable. but im guessing this is only possible becuase both pistons will be at the same position in each cylinder. just like having a single cylinder, but bigger.

im starting to think...if anyone has 3 or more piston port chainsaw or whipper snipper motors exactly the same, then it would be possible to make a 2 stroke radial.

just think people...3 cylinder 150cc 2 stroke radial in a pocket bike.
that would have a horsepower potential of between 9-18 hp
all you would really need to do, is make a sealed crank case (no need for reed valves) and a set of custom con rods, all on the one crank lobe/journal

RADIAL POCKET BIKE...sounds like a hell of a lot of fun, an air cooled pocket bike, that keeps up with euros, thumpsters...and some go karts, not to mention the wow factor
