Blata SQ differences?

I just got a blata sq,
and i'm just wondering what the difference is between a standard blata

The exhaust looks bigger in the main pipe off the motor and there are a few changes here and there but i am not sure myself.

I am also wondering if its worth getting a zhochhi pipe over the standard sq blata pipe? The stinger has come away from the backing plate on the current exhaust

Thanks
Adrian!

the main difference is the quality.
i have an SQ and my mate has a normal one, and his leaked everywhere as soon as he got it. id already had mine for a few years before he got his and mine was running fine. mine also had better performance than his.

i have 3 cranks sitting on my desk infront of me atm, 1 is from a genuine blata 14wrs, an SQ blata rep and a normal blata rep. the genuine crank of course is the best, but the SQ crank is still about a hundred times better than the normal blata rep one. it is better balanced, better lubricated and the con rod is lighter and doesnt move around whereas with the normal blata rep one it wiggles all around the joint. i can post a pic of the SQ crank and the normal blata rep crank side by side.

the SQ's also have better seals and bearings. i pulled mine apart after years of thrashing it and they work like they were brand new and werent chinese!

These are words from Dazza's fingers ...

An SQ bike has the letters SQ stamped on the triple clamp.
The SQ bike is of much higher quality than any other Blata rep bike avaliable.
The SQ bike has better mounted exhaust, near top of expansion chamber there is an extra mount.
Brakes have thicker and more solid mount.
Around the fuel filler cap there is a chrome surround.
These are the easiest items to pick a SQ bike.

Hi .
Look for SQ stamped on the Crankcase,or the number 2 or H on the side of the cyilnder.
If the motor vibrates like a bitch it is not an SQ
SQ motors use a different ignition to the Ebay bikes
If the bike has the new long header style Exhaust it is probably not an SQ and so on ..
Non SQ motors are absolute CRAP !!!!!!!

Cheers Brian

The last statement made me LOL !!!

yeah,
i also got an email from someone a while back when i wanted to pay people to do my crank case mods for me.

"is your bike an SQ? SQ bikes are the only ones you should race because they are much higher quality and are more powerful than the normal blata reps. if its not an SQ, i advise you not to modify your engine too much as it will most likely dissapoint you in the long run"

cheers

Dazza is an unknown quantity at this point
Okay, with all this talk about SQ bikes.
This may help many of you to look up their range.
SQ is the first company to replicate the Blata Origami, this is why their copies are so good.
They have the first copy, then the other Chinese companies copied the copy, then others copied the copy and so on.
This is why they have the best copy.
Pocket Bike, Pocket Bike Catalog - China Pocket Bike manufacturers
I think JSW in SA buy from them, so if you want a SQ bike PM him.
