these are my 2 bikes...
one is an SQ and the other is a ebay bike....
the way i have been told to tell them apart is by
the frame, down the side of the bike...
the SQ has round holes cut out.. and ebay bike
has stripes cut out...
i have found by riding both bikes that the SQ is heaps better
quality.. the brakes are better and it just handles better..
the ebay bike is still good but but the brakes are a little
squishy and i always gotta adjust them... handles ok but
not as good as the SQ.
I bought the white, blue and red bike from frizzy and he has done a
fantastic job doing up this bike.. this one is the SQ
and it great.. cheers frizzy..

the green one is the ebay bike...
still good but not as good as a SQ...

my bike looks more like the traditional green blata but it has SQ definitely stamped on the triple clamps

The red white and blue bike is a series 1 SQ blata rep these were the first copy to come from the SQ factory. These frames actually handle slightly better than the series 2 SQ which have the strips down the side the series one frame is a few kgs lighter. The copies which I like to call a series 3 which are all the copies can be recognised by rear breaks and the rear swing arm is completely different, also the exhaust is narrower than the SQ's and the crank is of poor quality. If It don't have SQ stamped on it and the motor and frame does not have the SQ serieal numbers then it aint a SQ bike.
SQ are the only Factory to have a Quality Assurance ISO the factory make all sorts of things other than pocket bikes. They make everything from jet skies to go karts. The Red white and blue bike in the photo was Frizzys from adelaide this bike took out the 2007 winter championship but only just. It was a very quick bike with frizzy on it

cheers shotgun..
so ya saying that the blata reps with the stripes
down the side still can be a SQ... interesting..
heheeh and i like how you said frizzy's bike is very
quick... ( with him on it)...
hehe yeh the bike is fast ( real fast). but with me on it, its not...
i am still to scared to open her up on some parts of the
track, as i have come very close many times to highside-ing...
there was this one time.. i think a nugget came out...
