Dreambike Frame Bracing

Hey all,

come to the decision tonight to turn my dreambike into the euro racer as i think the transfer gearbox in the GP3 isnt strong enough to take any massive power. and the dreambike handles alot better!

BUT the frame looks really thin in many places. and i cant weld cast aluminium at all (i tried a piece of scrap at home last night) so if it gets a crack its straight in the bin!!

So i was thinking of lathing up some UHMW plastic rods to bolt between some places on the frame to strengthen it up and stop it splitting. mainly between the swingarms and up right under the fuel tank.

Think itll be a good idea? as it stands the frame could pull apart quite easily from the headstock as theres no good triangulation in the frame really. i think itll work alright - its nice a little light narrow frame

to be ohnest mate the polini frames aren't the best frame to use as to what you have in mind that is if your thinkin of your electric motor yes ?? they have cracking problems and if you have to weld or modify frame's it could be anoying to do it in the future just my two cents but hey if your not botherd about that it would be a great bike to use the dream bikes handle awsome and are so light hope you go well with it any way cheers regards
