Question help!! leaking dreambike w/pump

my dreambike water pump bearing is stuffed and I'm having trouble trying to find one without having to buy the motor aswell ...! Am I able to replace the bearing in it... If so... how does it come out...?

Morty it's probably not the greatest suggestion but me personally I think when the water pump fails on my Banshee i'll be getting a better one.

I haven't had one apart yet but does the pump consist of a pully, shaft with impella and the pump is sealed and supported by a pair of ball bearings and a set of seals ? Couldn't you just replace the bearings and seals ?

I'm just sourcing an exploded diagram now.

*edit*
No luck. I've found plenty of diagrams of engines but none of the water pump so far. I'll keep you posted if i find anything.

I haven't had any luck sorry.
The ultimate solution is replacement of the standard pump with the BZM item.

*edit AGAIN*

Maylands Performance has the complete Dreambike water pump for $35

buy the look at that morty you should be running coolant in it.Its a bit rusty looking.Being alloy you should think about that. Will do more damage if you dont. This is just a sugestion.Thats all.Like i said before some tracks dont allow it .But when you get home you should drain it and fill it with 50/50 :o)

Good sugestion beans thats what i do with the coolant, To get the bearing out heat it and the casing around it wit a heat gun it will slide straight out.

yes bj#5. water weter will work. But you still should put some good quality coolant 50/50 in when not useing the bike.Corrosion is the concern here.NOT now,But 2;3 months down the track.Coolant also helps to lube the seal cause of the oil content.Water is not a lube.
