This is to discourage people from joining solely for the purpose of selling here never to be seen again. This classifieds section is provided for active users of this forum. If anybody doesn't like this there is always eBay.

And my previous decision to let Mazza sell here was a mistake. I should not have made an exception and in future will not. This is a group decision from moderators in the best interests on the forum.

Oh and Mazza. Just so you know. Responding to trading post ads with "I don't need any of these but good luck with the sale" IS NOT A USEFUL POST and it will be deleted.

A useful post might be asking a question or answering some questions in detail. Or write a mini article or something! The keyword here being USEFUL posts. Contributions that your fellow forum members can benefit from your wealth of knowledge.

i agree that rules are rules,but we all know that con isnt just someone with no interest in bikes tgat is just trying to sell a bike he knows nothing about.he is the national champion,and Adrian that is how he is better than us.it is a sport and he is the best at the sport.

If everybody knows him and can vouch for him then I think he should be able to place ads in the classifieds.

I think the mods should have a debate,or there should be an open debate regarding exceptions to some rules,bcause the mods seem to turn a blind eye to some things like language and other things,so i think they should make exceptions to people like con

Fair enough Sikko I appreciate your opinion but I'll ask you this. Do you think you could do a better job ? There are two people moderating this forum full time. Myself and Mac90. We don't get paid. We do this because we want to keep this place alive and strong. We can't always or don't notice every instance of rules being broken.

If you have a problem. Start a new thread about it and spill your guts. I'm locking this thread.

its a catch 22 situation fellas
the rules were changed because of one or two sales where people were not happy with their purchase, dramas were starting on the forum because of this

i personally think private sales over say $50 should only be paid for via pay pal or a link to eBay unless you personally know who you are buying from
this way its buy a your own risk for anything under $50 & amounts over that you have the ebay or pay pal policy to back you up on your purchase

MODS are just here to moderate the guidelines stated in the forum rules that everyone agrees to when they sign up members can email admin about any questions they may have about any of the rules/guidelines or any other matter they have questions on

so its pretty much buy a your own risk as admin & mods cant be responsible for any sales on the forum

as the thread is still here members can pm Mazza for any details until he gets his post count up
