hey mate, yeah i would hav stuck wit me thin chain but i couldnt find any pocket bike shops in Brisbane so i drove out to caboolture and bought one, and then came back home and saw that i needed a different front and rear sprocket. How much would i be able to get a sprocket off you for? Also, would u have any other CAG parts like exhaust, footpegs, plastic fuel tank, cos i also need them. And where bouts do u live? Im in Northside Brisbane. Hopefully your nearby so i can pick the items if you have them.

my cag had the thick chain - i think its just a difference between cag models. i guess in the long run itll stretch less, but its just a prick to buy sprockets for raelly at least you wont snap a chain!

Well thats true they are stronger, i'm suprised they aren't used more often. There would be more grab on the sprocket/pinion too so there would be less chance of it jumping off too!

Pocket Racing Bikes will have the sprockets your after

Thanks
Adrian

There is a greater choice for sprocket sizes with the thin chain...

Plain and simple..

Every new cag I have ever seen, does come with the thick chain..

my cag has & still runs thick pitch
it depends on what stock the particular factory used on their bikes factorys that do cag quads & mini dirtbikes tended to use a thick setup on all their bikes to save a quid

the main problem with thick pitch is you dont have much choice in sprocket ratio unless you convert r1 & mini dirtbike thick pitch sprockets to suit the cag rim

54 tooth is the most common thick pitch rear sprocket so you must stick with the 6 tooth front
