standard airfilter needed and fairing screws.

Can anyone help me out with a standard black box airfilter (the screws for the airfilter would come in handy too but not necessary)?I also need some mushroom head shaped screws and rubbers that connect the fairings to the frame.

I know im better off with a better airfilter but the cag frame i have does not have enough room for any airfilter but the standard black box one.

Need them asap so i can sell it.Then i can try to find a cag that will fit a better airfilter.

If your looking to get rid of this just to get a CAG with a different airfilter, don't bother...

Get yourself a 14mm dell or 14mm dell rep...

Further more air filters are poo, just get a set of stockings cut a small piece off and fix to the intake of the carby.. Use a hose clamp to fix it...

Then it's 1000 times easier to clean or just cut yourself a new piece of stocking...

I once had a dell rep carb on a 49cc with a fatboy exhaust and triple stage reeds and the performance was crap.So i changed the dell rep with my standard carb and it was so much better.

At the top of the dell rep carb under the black part there is a gasket that rotted away within 3 weeks from brand new and was sucking air so i got rid of the silly thing.

I tried to get a new gasket for it but no one could help me,also no one could help me out with any jets for the dell rep carb and couldnt find anywhere to buy them.

On my 49cc there is a bar part of the frame that is right behind the rear wheel so there is no room for a dome/pod airfilter.I dont know about the stockings, wouldnt it be easier for dirt to get in and stuff my carb?

As i am going to sell it i think it would look a bit dodgy having a old stocking wrapped around the carb.

hey i have about 3 cags worth of parts send me a PM telling me what you need

but you can fit the small pod filters on easily, just make a thin metal bracket that spans between the two bolts holding the carb on and put a screw through the filter into that metal strip. theres a pic in the gallery of someone who did that

No dirt would get past the stocking at all...

There is heaps of sites that sell jet kits...

Buy some gasket paper from Repco and make your own gaskets, that's what I do ...

Nothing dodgy about the stocking trick, Just explain that a $2 pair of stockings works better than the poo Chinese air filters... Or not it's up to you..

Furthermore I have about ten of the poo Chinese air filters laying around, $5 for a new one... Plus delivery...

If you are interested pm me...

Judging by the lack of reply to the pm I sent you, I guess you don't want it...

I'm also here to tell you that the std mushroom air filters I have will fit...

I tried to help, but you didn't want it...

meh...

Sorry for not gettn back to ya.Im pretty sure it wont fit because having the black box airfilter on there is only about half an inch clearence from the bar that is in the way.I have a small pod airfilter that i have already tried to fit but there is just not enough room. But thats what we get from buying a chinese bike put together by a 6 yr old boy in china i guess.
Thanks for your help anyway mate.
