fark those genuine delorto carbis are expensive. can anyone recomend some other carbi to suit a mildly worked CAG motor? and how much bigger can i go in carbis?

there was a guy selling some walbro reps on ebay for $15 a while back - looks like hes gone. but maybe these will work? might wanna check with mac or hudson tho.

Yeah the wt-257 is what i'm running and performs really well. The problem with the hobby ones is that they are designed for servo's to actuate the throttle and there is no provision for a cable. When i got mine (also from a hobby shop) i used the whole throttle shaft from my rep. You can buy the throttle shaft seperately from viperformance i think. Not sure on dollars tho.

yes with carbs id only go genuine if your serious about a carb

the walbros are a great little carb for a 2 stroke engine they have proven them self in kart racing as a outstanding carb
with pocketbikes you will find the WT-603 a good choice as the Wt range has the centered pulse hole

the HD HDA type you may need to modify the inlet manifold to suit the pulse hole position
the main advantage with walbro carbs is no re jetting is needed its a simple turn of a screw to ajust mixture
this can make them harder to tune but if you know what you are doing they outperform 90% of other carbs to tune for each race conditions or engine modifications
