Well the time has come to sell my beloved CAG as i'm throwing my time and money into my other money guzzling hobby, My 4wd.
Mods include:
* Engine:-The engine has been rebuilt and is only 1 race meet old. It has new crankcases with new seals and NSK bearings. The cases have been ported and port matched to suit the '3D' boost port. It has a new "aussie" ADA head kit from RD Racing with the barrell raised 1.8mm, exhaust port raised by 1mm and running 0.76mm squish which RD advises it the optimum squish setting for this kit.
* Genuine walbro WT-257 carby with ported and pollished throat
* Blue polini carbon fibre reed with modified reed block and 5mm reed spacer
* Fatboy exhaust which i've welded the header pipe and expansion chamber together to stop oil leaks
* Alloy pull start and lightened flywheel
* Custom made 5 degree timing key
* New (also i race meet old) 2 shoe adjustable clutch engaging at 5700rpm
* Reasonably new fairings with some minor scratches
This is a very competitive bike and runs like a dream. I have spent countless hours and money in developing this bike to be quick and reliable. It has a very good top end and revs to 12000 rpm flat out. It's running 7/68 gearing and is set up well for the south morang track. The only thing it lacks to make it a top knotch CAG is a descent set of rubber. Its currently running Zhongya's which tend to step out a bit on tight corners. I did manage to come 2nd at the VIC titles on the weekend tho.
