air filter

can u use a car air filter on a pocket bike and is a bigger air filter better then a small one

All I know is the more air you add you need to up the fuel going into the engine as well to get a nice air/fuel mixture.

I would be like putting a bigger turbo on your car but not uprating the injectors, it just dosent work...

racer-josh is on a distinguished road
so basicly if you get a new air filter with more surface area for the air flow to get in .. you will need to get a new and bigger jet for the carb to allow a better oil/air mixture

if it doesnt come with one yes... its best to get a pack of them (there quite cheap i think) and do trial and error to fit your needs and performance .. i think mine is a 72 lol but im not sure as it came with the genuine blata carb (dug a whole in my wallet )
