can someone tell me the pro's and cons of these engine kits

hey im looking over at ozscoot at
52cc BIG BORE KIT(3.5hp BOLT ON) $250
and
PBU MID BIKE HEADSTRONG POWER PACKAGE $500
the headstong says it out preforms the big bore, big price differance.
what sort of hp is the headstong kit producing? i realise its ported and stuff for better preformance but what sort of differances are we talking about?

whats the best engine to start with for modding?
as far i know from what ive read the 49cc is a piston port engine and the 47cc is a reed engine so whats the best case to start with?

Best thing you can do is give Mark at Ozscoot a ring and talk to him about what you want, how much you can spend and let the guys come up with a package that suits your need and budget.

There is no point whacking on a big bore kit if nothing else on the motor will let it work. it needs to be an engineered package

You can take upgrades in little steps or quantum leaps, but it's worth speaking in person to guys in the know to make sure you spend your money in the right place.
