head kits and full circle cranks????????

hey im looking to do a bit of work to my cag but dont really want to spend sh#t loads of cash on it but still want it to hav more get up and go.
and this place seems to b the place for good advice.
just wondering if anyknows if this kit is any good??
i realise it wont b the quality of the genuine one or of others but will it do the job and if there is anything that maybe should be considered or changed.

i am planning on getting either 14/14 rep from ozminimtotos or a 15mm del rep from the same place as head kit. which is better suited or anything else i should get??

also reeds, triple stage reeds or fibreglass or carbon fiber?? ive read plenty of threads but still not 100% on which way to go. they r all cheap enough but which is better?

also clutches?? 2 shoe adjustable springs or 3 shoe lighten and better springs?? had different people say different things, so just wondering wat u guys think.

im not looking to race in comps or anything but would like to get as much out of it as i can for as little as i can.
i realise it wont hav the go of a watercooled but part of the fun is actually building it up and the number 1 aim is blow away my mates on there cags.

any help will be appreciated. thanx

I can tell you that i spent just as long researching it and searching.

Without a doubt the best thing I did was a head kit,
For the price they are selling that one for it would be a great upgrade.

There is another one which is a 3d port headkit with 15:1 compression ratio.

This option will work for you too
Ozminimoto - Mini Pocket Bikes - Product Detail

I wasn't able to fit a fatboy exhaust on my cag because of the frame design but if you did buy a fatboy exhaust, and a headkit your bike will go great.

The good thing about the ebay one you found was that it has a full circle crank in as well.

The standard clutches are ok, you will just want to get stronger springs for it.

Just a set of fibreglass reeds will do great. Others use polini reeds modified to fit, but its up to you how much you want to do yourself

As sharplines said, do not forget the exhaust as it is equally important as all the other modifications.

yeah thanx heaps sharplines. yeah i dont think i will b ablt to fit fatboy either. i hav my cousin who is a boiler maker making me a custom exhaust out of an old crappy exhaust i had. will see how it goes and will put picks up when i get it.
ive seen ozminimotos 3d ported head but the other does come with full circle crank and is still cheaper.

wat about the carbys?? should i go bigger or is 14/14 rep from ozminimotos ok?

the Chinese triples are prone to breaking
i would go fiberglass or carbon fiber
fiberglass are good for bottom end to mid range & work well with cags

same with the jet pro rep pipe (very good botton to mid range pipe)

careful buying the ebay kit from hong kong as shipping is in pounds not $AU so its close to $90 all up once you convert it

contact ozminimoto about what sort of package deals are available as he is in Melbourne & may offer pickup !!

shop with our forum sponsor & a genuine Aussie dealer. drop dazza a email he may have 1 RD headkit left if your lucky & stocks all other spares

waiting to here from wbr aswell on a headkit from them guys depending on price.

also just got a set of carbon fiber reeds on ebay for $13 delivered. so will see how they go. coz the triples r also cheap may giv em a go aswell n see the difference
