blata rep has an internal pump and the polini does not, aside from that i believe the crankcase performance is more or less the same.

as for the engines blata engines have a design that allows a very broad power band. polini seems to be very peaky.. but cant comment on the reps.

better or not??

i wouldnt not say that they are better as it depends on the rider what you want out of the bike i would say they are both very good bikes as i have onwed ans raced both but they both have there pros and cons

blat rep pros [sq]
good strong frame that is lager than most good for taller people
internl water pump that is always runing better for cooling
very high reving engine if ported and tuned right with good torque as well
twin front disc front end better then most
easy to work on and parts are in the plenty

polini rep 911 [f kingdom]
light wight frame very easy to fit on for most riders
very easy to pull apart and work on for most people
great handling with short wheel base for quick turning in
parts are not too hard to get a hold of

blata rep cons
frames are hard to pull down as not every thing lines up perfect
can be quite twichy leaning in and out of corners
foot peg mounts dont take to much to break
if your water pump belt breaks you wont know until you pull of your pull start and some times it to late then
breaks can be hard to set up at first

poliln rep cons
frames tends to crack after long use then you need to replace the top half
bloody dumb ass fuel cap that on the reps will just keep letting you down
front breaks are very hard to set up and pads wll chatter but can be fixed
externl water pump that runs off the back wheel another dumb idea but can be changed
parts are more that the blata for most any way

hope that helps

i have both, a blata rep sq and an f kingdom 911 rep. i bought the 911 secondhand modified so i dont know how it went out of the box, but with the mods in my sig its an absolute beast!
its already flying, then suddenly it hits the powerband and the front lifts up. it seems to never stop accelerating

ive been working on my blata rep for ages and havnt used it with the new mods yet, but it was a beast out of the box. it had smooth power and i got it upto top speed all the time.

i much preder the handling of the 911 rep over the blata rep, but its all about personal preferance. if you can get a modded 911 for cheap, then by all means do it
