hey glen the best thing to do is run a fine stone wheel over it all very neatly that way you get rid of dags and you also make all ports the same surface texture if ya know wat i mean

Wink 40cc bzm 5 port

Hey Dazza,
if you can remember,i had a 40cc bzm 5 port w/c in that RSR that WBR Racing owns now and that blew all my competitors away and they were all on 50cc bzm and 50cc polini and zpf engines. No one could beat that bike!!!! i made a point that this 40cc bzm was unbeatable!!! i think it really boils down to A; know what your building and B;have a good race team that you and your pilots communicate together on what works and on what dosent work.i have built 40cc 3 port polini engines for instance that have pumped out over 13hp,so combinations and knowledge is crucial for a fast, strong engine.

i honestly believe that 50cc are not that much greater than 40cc sure they will produce more power out of the box but we believe that 40cc rev way harder and faster and produce a different sort of hourse power. honestly i think in the end it will come down to rider some lighter riders will suit 40cc's some 50's as most people know that ride elite bikes there is such thing as TOO MUCH POWER !! but take for instants we have a 40cc cag engine that has been ported and had squish done stock cases and reed block and it can beat plenty of 49cc's, we think this is because it rev's faster and harder sure our gearing is very different but we dont max it out and it pulls to 12,900 rpms no wories, how ever i know this is very different to bizeta, blata's and polini's but it's really the same principal just depends how long you want to spend tunning and setting up the engine?? 50cc's is the lazy way to get great power but 40cc can be race proven winners to!!! just my two cents

my 40cc 911 is a monster. i havnt ridden a 50cc bzm or anything of that sort yet, but the engine on my bike was set up so well by the guy before me, as soon as it hits the powerband the front wheel lifts up and the bike just keeps accelerating, and its a 40cc polini

I have a 50 bzm on the polini GP5 engine. Beat the bzm 50. I think it the new ignition polini produce. True in the past bzm are better but I think time has change. Did a dyno.
See and compare.
