i have both the 6-port bizeta top-end and polini 5port on rep cases.

The BZM has a much flatter power delivery, and is easier to ride. It has a vast midrange.

The Polini 5-port 50cc is peakier. It makes all its power up top, revs a little harder. Great fun to ride, but not as easy to ride.

If you want something that will be consistent, good on twistier tracks and is easier to ride, go the Bizeta kit.

If you want something to get the blood flowing and put a massive smile on your face go the polini. It is an experts engine, but with a very good rider, would outperform the bizeta (given that neither are modified)

Thumbs up Bzm Power.............

Hi mate,
from years of experience in this game i would have to say that the BZM 50cc 6 port is the cream of the crop.Polini 50cc 5 ports dont come anywhere near in HP to the BZM engines. That is a proven fact as all major RACE TEAMS in Europe and Pocketbike manufacturers are all going for BZM engines.Polini is good but not as good as the BZM power.I have built and raced both engines for years and the BZM is alot better in every way.

from wat i have seen and tried abit of, danny is wright no dout's about it bzm engines kill polini's all day every day this is not to say that polini's are poo but wen both engine's are worked hard the bizeta will always be in front. bizeta have a much bigger range of cranks, barrels, cases, coils's and pipes all to suit your combination but having sed all this polini are still very respected engines and are a weapon when built wright just my two cents

it will work with the standard crank. my six port is set up with a polini blue crank. Just gets the secondary (crank case) compression up, is more accurately built. Can notice the difference in throttle response and low end 'punch'. But it will work with the standard 911 rep crank.

i have to agree with danny and WBR, the bizeta has more potential for modification and would definately have a higher peak horsepower if both engines were modified. My comments related to an out-of-the-box setup.

BZM on chinese cases

I have a BZM 50cc 6 port fitted to my chinese Z1 cases.
Was originally running a blue polini crank but have now changed to a BZM red crank.
Red crank gives it more bottom end and is very peaky but having said that I found the blue crank to be very good as well, it was probably more useable power out of the blue crank as the red crank just wants to stand the thing on the back wheel all the time. Makes for great fun though lol.
