the walbro carb will help alot & yes you need the vstack on the carb to fit the pod filter

only other mods i know of would be a good pipe & or headkit if its a piston port 2 stroke
the piston port 2 stroke's are limited with after market parts & mods compared to the cag engines

PBU sell some stuff for piston port motors, but i would only buy off em if there are no other parts like them in australia

i havent even tore into yet to see if it has a reed or not. i got some info from scooter parts. this is what i got from them.

The X8 uses #35 chain and 48T rear sprocket.
About the carb,the X8 uses standard 49cc carb.We
have 2 stroke 49cc pocket bike manual, but it is not
only for X8. It is just a reference. If you need it,
we can send a copy with your order.

i know with street bikes, if you go bigger sproket in back then it will increase low end but decrease top end. what would be a good sprocket set up? thanks again everyone.
