19mm del rep on banshee fit

Hey guys quick question.

Does the 19mm delortos and reps fit the stock banshee intake manifold and air filter or do I have to get the works?

It does fit but mate for the price of a rep.. it's only about half the price of a genuine Dellorto PHBG. You'd be crazy not to go to the genuine article especially if you care about your bike.

You think yeah yeah this guy is talking out of his hat. Having dealt with both rep and genuine carbs they are chalk and cheese.

One looks like a carby. The other IS a carby.

Yeah genuine carbies are the go. Just fitted a genuine walbro on my Cag and the fuel delivery and crispness (is that a word?) over the rep is by far superior.

Yep. Carburetors are one instance where you DO get what you pay for.

haha let me tell you about my replica carb woes. couldnt idle the bike at all for the last two days but it runs fine all else. i took the carb off the bike, put the slide back in and fired it up tonight. runs perfect WTF!

how much did the carb rep cost? i think $135 on a genuine is money well spent. at least people will help you tune it.

and yay for me, just waiting for my BZM calibrated carb to come. which bike shall it go on.. hmm
